Fuck yes, I am now going on a Jicks spree this afternoon. Did you go to their last show at the Nepchune?

Yes! It was awesome. Sucked that the non-Janet Weiss drummer didn't know much old stuff, but still a fantastic show. I forgot how much Malkmus drinks before performances.

Something about some jetpacks tried to steal the Hum thunder and I'm not about to let drunk Malkmus do the same. FUCK YOU SCOTLAND! FUCK YOU STEVE! LET'S ALL HUM!!!!

Trust me when I say You'd Prefer an Astronaut

That show was rad but I did miss Janet. The crowd was very awkward though. Nobody seemed into it other than a couple pockets throughout.

I was front & center and danced my face off, even when Stephen was like *these are the guitar licks to sheets* Bassist: "[drummer's name] doesn't know that one!" Malkmus: "Fuuuuck! OK, a capella 'Us', ready go!"

That show was amazing,

Holy Shit Yes!! This is great. Very reminiscent of Helmet. Loved it a lot and I will seek the physical album out in any form I can find.
