Yeah! Finally getting around to listening to the whole Gauntlet Hair album, I love it.
My dad dug out some of his old vinyl he thought he got rid of, including some Talking Heads. Lots more to go through still!

If you've never taken the time for them, Talking Heads are more exciting, more important and just plain better than anything else you'll listen to this year.

By the by, Burrito, if your surprise involves providing me with a copy of Codgers on the Moon, I will respectfully decline. I have a lot of personal rules that I bend from time to time, but acquiring a Residents album that I have not personally paid for is at the top of the list of rules that I will not bend. For a nameless, faceless band, we have a pretty personal relationship.

Haha I've listened to quite a bit of Talking Heads. But never this full one! And never any on vinyl!

My surprise is not the thing I just told you about, and also not something that I've listened to.

But goddamn that Bobuck album is beautiful in a way that you wouldn't normally associate the word 'beautiful' with the Residents. I'm disappointed to not see it pressed on vinyl, or any mention of vinyl being sold on the WOW tour for that matter.

With the Rz quarterly release schedule, vinyl pressings of anything but the classics are cost-prohibitive. Especially something like Codgers, which I guarantee you has sold few#r than150 copies even as a CD-R.

This Pitchfork Advance thing is actually really really cool. I just went fullscreen on some new Gold Panda.

Listened to The Mars Volta's discography since the breakup. That was a lot of fun but I am still bummed. I haven't listened to a couple of the albums in a while.

OK, did what was necessary. Now it is time to get pumped for tonight. Going to see Big Business and Sandrider in Bellingham.
