fun. - Some Nights
Mumford & Sons - Babel
The Black Keys - El Camino
Frank Ocean - channel ORANGE
Jack Black - Blunderbuss

Confirming what I already knew that channel ORANGE deserves to be the Album of the Year. Blunderbuss is much better as a unit than I remembered it being, though.

channel ORANGE is probably the "best" album of the year (i.e. really good and has popular appeal), but it's not my album of the year.

Big Boi - Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors

I don't usually post what I'm listening to in here but holy shit this is terrible. I'm hoping that it grows on me a bit but it's not looking good. If you ever wanted to know what a Big Boi RnB album would sound like, the second half of this thing is your chance.

Nice dude. I pulled out Copia and "An Accidental Memory..." last night. Then I listened to the Dillinger Escape Plan. The flow was seemless.

If that's the Aphex Twin cover up there you could post it in the EDM thread and hit a few birds with one stone.

Speaking of covers, I just discovered their covers EP today, which had some pretty rad surprises.
