Dude! I fucking love that band. Stealth Beats is probably in my top three of the year. If they make it out to Calgary I will give you a heads up because they are really good live too

So far today (tonight) I've only left my bed to go to the bathroom (washroom) and back because of William Basinski's The Disintegration Loops I, II, III, & IV. This music is so dang peaceful.

The story behind his experience while reconstructing them is so fucking eerie. Have you watched the video he filmed from his studio of downtown NYC that evening?
Posted by NO LOVE DEEP BJORRITO on Nov 20, 2012, 1:36am
Yes, I was familiar with that eerie video and the original loop, but until this recent reissue I was not aware that he recorded so many of them. Have you checked out the boxed set? It's fucking insane. Even though I don't understand how a 60+ minute loop based entirely on continuous disintegration will work split across vinyl, I want that shit.
Posted by Pea on Nov 20, 2012, 1:40am
Nah, I haven't made any attempt to look into the official releases. I would really love to spend some time with them eventually though.

I've been listening for about 4-5 hours now since I woke up, completely sober, no food, and I am increasingly more comfortable as time passes. I strongly recommend this experience.

Awesome dude. I've probably listened to 3 hours of it total since it was released, but only on streaming websites.

Disintegration Loops has been one of my havens for the last decade. It's gotten to the point that it's an active listening experience for me. I can't do anything else while listening to it.

Burrito, have you heard the Death Grips remix on Bastards?

Posted by NO LOVE DEEP BJORRITO on Nov 20, 2012, 9:54am
Fuck yeah dude, Bjorrito released both of the Death Grips remixes as a single 12" reasonably priced at $6.99!

I like how their remix of 'Sacrifice' is basically just 'System Blower' with Bjork's voice.
