You guys need ta hear this Beck remix of Philip Glass if ya haven't already. Beck pulls out all of his coconuts on this one and manages to integrate every classic Glass element as well. I realize 21 minutes is a lot to ask of some, but this is quite possibly the best "remix" I have ever heard in my life. Even if you don't know Glass (Gramma), Beck makes this shit his own and will make you want to party with Glass all of the time. |

If Gramma has seen Candyman, The Hours, The Truman Show, etc. then Gramma knows Glass. And if Gramma hasn't seen any one of those flicks, he should.
Also, I think Gramma would love all of Glass's weird operas. Einstein on the Beach and Satyagraha, specifically. And of course, The Low Symphony in which Glass pays homage to David Bowie and Brian Eno's "Berlin Trilogy". |

| But Gramma doesn't, like, know Glass, man |

| I've heard hella Philip Glass in movies. I even owned the soundtrack to The Truman Show and I loved it. But I'm certainly not going to say that I know shit about Philip Glass because I owned the soundtrack to The Truman Show. |

| Glass ain't passionate about them soundtracks like he is with his operas. I'm throwin' down some Einstein next time we be chillin'. |

ALSO SOLID. I think Temporary Residence still has their 10% off sale going on - you could order it online and save like 1 dollars. |

| As long as you're doing the Crimson thing, Burrito, I would suggest the Happy With What You Have to Be Happy With EP (2003). The title track is a killer, and there are some really cool guitar explorations on the back half. |

| Oh, and when you get to the material from the '81-'84 lineup, try not to let your love of Robert Fripp interfere with your appreciaton of Adrian Belew. |
