Information Retrieved is like my second favorite Pinback record. Lux is exactly what I expected, which isn't very exciting at the moment.
But then again Lux has successfully wooed me to sleep on three separate occasions, which is kind of why I listen to music like that in the first pllace.
God, Eno can be so fucking frustrating. But yeah, I basically only listen to his ambient records when I have a migraine or I'm coming down from a drug trip and it's time to sleep. I'm sure Lux will come in handy eventually, but I'm not running out the door to buy it or anything.
So I fucking suck at making playlists, and you guys are my go-to source for new music/music I've heard but for some reason can never remember. I'm trying to make a "Dancey Times" playlist so if you have any suggestions of singles that belong on such a playlist, drop some knowledge of me!
My only requirements are that they sound awesome and are accessible for even the most uneducated of music listeners. For a baseline of the kind of stuff I am looking for, I so far have some Junior Boys, Caribou, stuff like that.

I keep a Dance Party mix on my iPod at all times, just in case, and I'm constantly revising and adding to it. Some of my favorite cuts from that list include:
"The Skin of My Yellow Country Teeth" - Clap Your Hands Say Jesus this is a long title "Knotty Pine" - Dirty Projectors and David Byrne "Volcano" - Felix Cartal "Men in Love" - Gossip "Split Needles (Alternate Version)" - The Shins "John, I'm Only Dancing" - David Bowie
