As far as dubstep whatever ambient electro goes, it's alright, but I don't really understand the hype. Any fans? |

I am by no means a dubstep whatever ambient electro pro here but I enjoyed that one. |

| I really like Burial a lot, but that EP didn't do a whole lot for me. I thought his Street Halo EP from last year was much better. |

| Burrito, tell me more about this Liars band. I like their album titles but I want to know if I should actually listen to them. (You can use that thread where we're supposed to talk about bands. And maybe I'll go check it in case you already did.) |

Pea, have you listened to They Were Wrong So We Drowned yet? I think people eventually came around on it but the original reaction to it was hysterical. Spin went as far as to call it "unlistenable."
The point to all this is that it's fucking awesome and you should give it a listen. |

Right? Jon Brion forever and always. I can never really get into his solo original jams but love the soundtracks and his production work. There is a version of Fiona Apple's Extraordinary Machine that he produced that leaked years before the official album came out and it's so good. She ended up re-recording it with different producers but I say Jon's version is better. |
