Oooooooooouuuu weeeeee!

This was the soundtrack to our weekend pre-birthday trip for Stormy. Oh, and how the fuck could I forget that we kicked it off with Souly's most excellent mix CD? We did that too. We had a rad weekend.

My Souly mix CD accompanied me on the drive to camping and was the soundtrack to parking lot phone charge parties. So much fun!

I'm so glad you guys like the mixes!!

Edit: If anyone else wants a mix pm me your address!!

Spoiler: it's going to be all songs that you already know.

I'm going to watch that again tonight! I was waaaayyy too peeled back to keep my eyes open for that.

I wish I wasn't so 420'd and rolling around in Rolos too much so to watch all of this. What I remember was fantastic. Gonna watch this for real now.

Sweet! Check out Drum's Not Dead if you get a chance. I still hold it to be one of my all-time favorite albums. Hopefully they still throw down some of those classic jams.

This album would easily make my top 30. Then I saw them live. Imagine a Mick Jagger wannabe strutting around stage lifting his shirt performing a surprise strip tease while rubbing his nipples. I understand this is what some Liars fans love about the dude, but fuck that. Can you imagine the same thing happening at an Animal Collective show. NO FUCKING WAY.

I can't give them a proper attention anymore, and I'll go out of my way to avoid seeing them live again.

Do yourself a favor, and forget this band ever existed. High five me later.

Whirr - Distressor
Deafheaven - Roads To Judah
Queens of The Stone Age - s/t

A high five between KY and wonk would probably require a step ladder.

This ones for weenie-

Current Swell- Young and Able

Love 'em! I rarely go see them anymore though. My boyfriend hates them because of reasons. :(

EDIT: Not that I still couldn't go. I'm lazy about Victoria bands. It takes a lot in my old age to get me to get my butt off of the couch for a band that I've seen a majillion times (even if I love them!).

Was that on their 2007/2008 tour when he broke his back and was doing the Frankenstein thing with the table and a Heineken? If so, I ate that shit up. If not, I still eat that shit up.

And I would love to see Avey Tare touch his nipples live.
