Absolutely, and 99% of it is purely for my own entertainment. I have in fact listened to Akron/Family and am fully aware that comparing them to Akon is not only unfair but also absurd.

Anything else?

Nope, not at all. I'm glad to see that you're not actually that way. I've never listened to either of those things, but I almost would have made that joke myself, having heard of both of them.

Just got tickets to Death Cab w/ Bright Eyes in Calgary, as well as Black Keys tickets. I couldn't believe that The Black Keys show sold out in less than 5 minutes!!! Talk about a shooting star of a band.

Shit! I still need my Black Keys ticket! They don't go on sale until tomorrow, and I slept through the presale today. I'm screwed. I NEED to be at that show.

Being that they are playing at Rexall Place you should be alright, but I would definatly jump in first thing in the morning. Thankfully I got mine through a presale yesterday. I just wanted better seats so I Dr. Garbanzoured I'd try again this morning. Now I'm just happy to be in the building.

I'm a bit disappointed that Cage the Elephant are opening for them though. I saw them at Lollapalooza and didn't like them, saw them again open for QOTSA and hated them and decided to check out their new album since they are playing with The Black Keys and now I find them downright dreadful!!! So it goes though...more time for the beer garden.

I picked up my Black Keys tickets for the Vancouver show during the pre-sale this morning. Looks like they're still available, so follow this link if you want some (no promo code, just the link):
