My hot wife (it's been a while since I've been able to use that phrase) really wants to go to that show as well, which was really surprising to me since I didn't even know she liked them. We have so many other tickets though so I don't think we can afford another.
My current list is as follows:
8/24/11 - Tapes N Tapes 8/26/11 - The Decemberists 9/2/11 to 9/4/11 - Dave Matthews Band Caravan Festival 09/16/11 - Cake 10/07/11 - Why? 10/11/11 - Chromeo 12/03/11 - The Sea and Cake

Lumpz, are you considering MM in Sept? You know you're def welcome to stay and pre-game at our apt. |

As lovely as that would be, what with already doing Hopscotch, the Pixies tickets I just bought, visiting Atlanta to see Sir Malkmus and chune-yArDs in early October, I doubt I can. Plus, wonderfully amazing as it is, Flaming Lips just announced a show in lil' ol' Charleston, so I basically have to go to that since the only shows Charleston got this year otherwise were Pixies and Thermals/Cymbals Eat Guitar. (Hint: This is a good excuse for you and Stampy to come visit Charleston, even if you're already seein' 'em at Hopsotch. The show is on a Friday.)
But, luckily we'll have super party time at Hopscotch and when I come to ATL for Malky and chuney.

2011 is year of the Lumpz!
We've seen you twice in July, we'll be partying it up at Hopscotch in September, then the first week of October you'll basically be our roommate... am i forgetting anything?
we should probably go ahead and plan for something in either November or December. or both.

Sounds good to me! Seriously though, come visit Charleston so I don't feel like a freeloader.

Pre-sale today for a fucking three night stand with Ween in Denver. December 29, 30 and 31. Honestly I'm about as interested in visiting Denver as I am in visiting Bosnia, but three nights of mahfuckin' WEEN? Dude.

Man 3 nights straight of any band, regardless of my love for them, seems like it would be a bit much but Ween seems to really know their shit in regards to setlists so hopefully it will be completely different each night.
Either way, a New Years Eve with Ween in Denver sounds like a fucking blast.

If a band has a tiny amount of common sense or creativity, they know fans will attend each show, and make sure they switch things up. I saw Modest Mouse four nights in a row, and I would have loved a fifth night. The setlist was different, and the shows were different.
Ween, lots of common sense, tons of creativity. Three nights with them would be way too much fun. On the other hand, let me again tell you how much I hate the Black Keys.

There's bad seats for $50 at the Tacoma dome. I think I'll go for that if anything since the other price option is $200 plus fees...

oh yeah I should clarify that there are cheaper seats but I have no interest in getting those. It's 130 or nothing for me

Holy balls tickets go as high as 270 in Vancouver. This is probably something I can miss since I've seen Jay Z before and dont really have ~$200 worth of want to see Kanye. Should be a pretty crazy show though.
