I have friends who would be jealous of you. Me, I'm more "That would've been cool to see, but, whatever." I'm still holding out for an LCD Soundsystem NYC New Year's or a wizard to cast a magic transportation spell on me that sends me to Oklahoma City for one night, but Passion Pit has already announced a show in me for 12/31 and if that's the best option...

12/31/10 - Primus New Years FREAK OUT with opening set from Claypool's Fancy Brigade.

I'm going to the decibel party in Seattle and dancing my ass off all night. Not quite Primus, but sweet nonetheless. Much better than being in my ex-girlfriend's cabin in the Tetons like two years ago.

I've got big plans for New Years Eve as well. I'm going to create several alternate accounts based on alter egos of board regulars, and spend hours having a bizaro conversation with myself. Holed Grampa (lots of spelling/punctuation errors), Highwaysix (all around nice guy), Angryfixer (Foul mouthed/non PC Troll), SouthDakota (Old man of the board), creamy0ymaerc (Troll 2), Sidespin, Bradbestupid, DanniDavito, Leftwithagun and Peatricia (long winded, writes paragraphs). You won't recognize the board when you get back.

My second choice was the Residents/Primus show. A distant third was Drew's ex-girlfriend in the Tetons (Never give a one night stand your number. Chick has been sending me dirty text messages for two years now).

:lol: wish I had some kind of good plans. Will just be getting drunk with friends from the old days back home in MD. How is Passion Pit live by the way? They're on of those bands I can only imagine putting on a good live show if I was on drugs (which is usually how I spend new years eve to be honest). Their music is really hit or miss for me for some reason. Primus on the other hand would be fucking awesome; I'm terribly jealous of you HG you smugg little fucker.

Oh my god, that just happened. Haven't seen a pit like that since the 90's. By that same token, that's the most exercise I've gotten since the 90's. If tomorrow night's show is better than tonight's show, then tomorrow night's show will be the best show I've ever seen.
