Is this a joke? Rancid was one my my favorite bands in high school, but also the single most disappointing live band I've ever seen.
And now they open for Blink-182. Sad. |

No?
I was 16 or 17 and shitfaced, so honestly I can't say much about the show itself. I do remember, however, a girl coming out of the pit with what appeared to be a broken nose.

Hahaha, holy shit, this just brought back some repressed memories.
I saw Smash Mouth a while back at a free show at that Universal Studios City Walk thing in Florida....and for their encore they brought out that fat Joey from N'Sync and did "Jump Around". hahahahahaha, what the fuuuuuuuckkkkkkkkk.

How is the Salmon Arm Roots & Blues Fest? I've been meaning to go and they always seem to have solid headliners.

Phew, I feel a little bit better about liking it knowing someone else with taste I respect does. I also liked Fush Yu Mang too.

This.
Also, So Much For The Afterglow is one of the first albums I got and I still love it, but I think we already spoke of this like a year ago.

Sparkle and Fade is a fantastic album. One of my 90's staples. "The Twistinside" is, in my opinion, their greatest song. Too bad Everclear sucked live when I saw them.
EDIT: I like this thread. It gives us a chance to talk about bands that we would be too scared to admit to liking otherwise.

I wouldn't be surprised if you are picturing me peeling a carrot with a staple gun. |

I believe So Much for the Afterglow was my fourth album; after Tubthumper, Fush Yu Mang, and Third Eye Blind. I would throw any of those on today if I could find them.

Actually was going through all my old discs and ended up throwing on Third Eye Blind the other day. Love that album, not gonna lie.

It took me awhile to understand why my 7th grade art teacher wouldn't let me play 'Semi-Charmed Life' in class. She proof-read the lyrics, glared at my like I was fucking insane, and simply said "I don't think so". I was like "'the fuck?! That's my jam! How am I supposed to mold a clay coffee mug without ma Jenkins fix?!"

Pickle Jam is my band. You probably haven't seen us live before. That can all be changed by voting for us to play at Bonnaroo here:
http://bonnaroo.sonicbids.com/BandDetails.aspx?b=31918
We would also win a healthy chunk of change to help us fund our first tour, and be able to party hardy with all you west-coasters!
Disclaimer: our music can get bat-shit crazy at times. Some of you will hate us, others may hate us less.

Weird. My first was Tubthumper and my third was Third Eye Blind. (My second was Big Willie Style)

I need to listen to 'dis! Can you vote for more than one band for that? I'm supposed to vote for another friend's band too.
