My friends from high school have a really awesome band that was on that AV club list a couple of years ago. One of them dresses up in women's clothing, and one wears a banana costume, and they're called "Woo-man and the Banana," and they're legit and really good.

Is this the friend who tried to pick up chicks at parties with "Oh Comely"?

That's a different friend (shocked you remember that story). THAT friend has an ambient project called "The Eemian," and is nuts about William Basinski, Stars of the Lid, and Richard Buckner.

Will you send me a sample of this? I'm a huge Stars of the Lid fan and have been nuts about Basinski lately.

Can someone please explain how Taylor Swifts album is on some of these lists? I mean, like I've never fucking listened to it, but I know for damn sure it is not any good.

Do you like any pop? It's cool if it's not for you but the album is a pretty perfect pop album.

Yes I like pop. Yes I understand that it's cool if it's not for me. But I just listened to it, and I stand by my original statement. But I guess my view of 'good' pop must be skewed, or what is actually considered 'pop' these days.
