I deleted it after making it through 2 1/2 songs. It was all pretty much exactly like that song, but that one was definitely the worst of the bunch.
I like the album (it helps that I never liked The Morning Benders and I love autochune) but even I will admit that the track R.Y.B. is borderline unlistenable. Listen at your own risk.

I got an email from Peter Katis of the Philistines Jr. yesterday; he says he has been hard at work on producing a new album and E.P. for Paul Banks of Interpol, as well as the next album from Local Natives. I'll be curious to hear that Local Natives record -- I liked their first album alright, but the production was for shit.
He also had something to say about Trey Anastasio's forthcoming solo album:
Quote:
And oh, yah, I spent FOUR months this Winter making that Trey record. I guess you heard about that. I'll be honest. I think it turned out great. Something really special. He gave me so much creative input that it literally sounds like a mix between Phish and The Philistines Jr. at times. Who thought that was possible?!
...so that is now officially my most anticipated record of 2012.
There's no way the rest of the record can be as terrible as that one song.
...right?
When I was talking to the ex-bassist, he told me to not even bother listening to it if I was a fan of The Morning Benders. I'm not even going to give it a chance.
Damn, even though I'm sure this is true, sounds like the dude's bitter about some thangs.

Loving the new Ihsahn album upon first listen. Might be my favorite of his four solo albums. Lots of great progressive and avant-garde stuff to accompany some classic black metal Emperor sounds.
Holy shit! Saxophones! Ok this album will end up in my favorites list very soon.
