That's pretty fucking insane, but I'm so burnt out of metal and it's fans that I don't think I'll ever find myself at another metal show again.
...but none of those 4 are anywhere near the heaviest bands of all time.
Well duh, but they are definetly some of the most popular metal bands ever. And I've also yet to see Metallica but I've seen the others, so that should be awesome.

I got a free ticket for a Metallica show during the Death Magnetic tour. It was pretty great, but I have no interest in seeing them again (or at least paying for it).

While "preparing" for My Morning Jacket's late night at Bonnaroo '08 we could hear Hetfield yell "DO YOU KNOW WHAT SONG THIS IS?", "DO YOU KNOW WHAT FUCKING SONG THIS IS?? (!!!!!!! probably) as they played the intro to ...and Justice For All (the camping is extremely close to the main stage). I mean it was all a little surreal as we approached the festival grounds with "Fade To Black" blaring in our faces knowing that the REAL Metallica were playing it. We ran through the crowd during "Master of the Puppets" and it felt like Lord of the Rings.

My first concert was a free Megadeth VIP show at the Paramount in support of Cryptic Writings. I didn't know any of their songs at the time but they were fun. Slayer was apart of another free (Ozzfest) show I went to in 2004. They were amazing. I've never seen Metallica though, so that would be my main reason for wanting to go.
