with a peripheral iPod dock and of course it is the best sound you could hope to achieve from a little unit like that. It's fallen slightly into disuse in favor surround sound speakers which admittedly don't have Bose quality sound but are able to achieve true stereo sound.

I got the sound dock as a christmas gift last year, and it has gotten all kinds of use. I love it. Never buying a bigger stereo for a single room ever again. I would consider the above model for a living room though.

Nope...it's their last album from 2009. The new one is All Eternals Deck and if I'm not mistaken it doesn't come out until next month. It should be a gooder if the song they played on Lettermen is any indication.

I didn't do a lot of research on headphones, I stumbled across enough information on the better headphones in my casual music readings, and everything stated the Bose are the best, although I've heard the Dr. Dre headphones are better for bass heavy music. What sold me was turning the headphones on, without playing music. It's a pretty weird feeling when everything goes silent. I've heard college students wear them while they are taking tests (without music) just to cut down on the excess noise.

And I forgot I've had my headphones for three years, not two. That makes it 35 cents a day.
