This is very quickly becoming another "wish list" thread, but if I had to pick one I'd vote for stamper's choices.

Seriously. I was really looking forward to their set, and even made an effort to get nice and close to the stage. About half way through I lost interest and went to the hill. I think if the sun had been down it would have been a different story. Give them a Bigfoot closing/late-night set this year!

For Animal Collective, I bet it's difficult to go from club-size venues that are dark and have the sound all bottled up inside to playing outdoors in daylight. The lights and the volume are really essential to AC's live set.

Not that they weren't incredibly loud at Sasquatch, but when I saw them at the Roseland here in Portland around the time of 'Strawberry Jam' the volume was just skull-crushing; like it really had a physical effect on you to be in such close proximity to such powerful noise.

I'll pick 5 from Coachella for Sasquatch

1) Animal Collective (I think they would shut down a stage at this point, no doubt)
2) Kanye West (Combined with the view and his sure to be nutso stage and light show, this will be some good festival fun)
3) The National (I'd seen them live a couple times before Sasquatch and was AMAZED at the significant strides they made, it was an entirely different experience. With an entire tour of High Violet under their belts now they would destroy in Vampire Weekend's slot)
4) Erykah Badu (But she would need over an hour at the least and I don't think that will happen)
5) !!! (Totally corny and cheesy but it would be very enjoyable if they played on the mainstage and I got to dance to them, they are always great live)

As much as I love them, I think Sasquatch has seen enough of the National for a little while.

Whoops, forgot they were at Primavera. I don't know if I would be dying to ask for any one else from that list in their place. Some good bands? Yes, but you can't be at every show at once so I'd be fine if none of the mid to upper tier bands crossed over (I know there will be some). In fact the less from that list the better for me. Then again Sasquatch is spring boarding off of a Foo Dr. Garbanzohters announcement so who knows I may just find myself crying for the likes of a Chemical Bros or BSS, but probably not.

Why all The DFA 1979 hub bub? Did we all not see 'em enough on the last go around. I'll take DFA'79 just so MSTRKRFT stops making music and showing up in the "live" listings every second day.

Never seen them either. Got into them right around the time they broke up and have wanted to see them since.

I saw DFA1979 once before they broke up and have been wanting for years to see them again, and not really expecting to. I REALLY hope they overlap.

I'm hoping The Felice Brothers overlap. I just started listening to these guys and I dig their stuff a lot. Good drinking music.
