I think it was '07 with their big Alive tour when they also stopped through Coachella. It's been way too long.

They played coachella in 06 and then had the big tour, because they used the money coach paid em to pay for their setup. I saw them at WaMu in, I believe, July 2007.

Damn, no wonder the Coachella kids are all hot and heavy over not having their precious Pyramid boys back yet.

I would say its the best live show I've ever seen, but not the best performance. Or maybe it was. I can't decide!

I know they were just pressing buttons or whatever, but it really was a performance too. Only DP could have made DPs music sound that good - the intros/outros, the mixes, everything, just awesome. And even in helmets they were showmen.

The thing I really liked was how they gradually showed you more and more of what they could do with the lights until I was tripping balls. It was awesome.

Yes! At the beginning I was blown away just when it lit up. Then colors, then designs, then pictures and....fuck. Mind blown.

If you are still updating this you can definetly take Tool off your list completely. Perhaps replace them with A Perfect Circle.

I added A Perfect circle, plus Paul Simon and Peter Gabriel, because of the discussions lately.
