Soundgarden turned down Sasquatch last year: http://grungereport.net/?p=2440

The most shocking thing about that story is that there is a website called the grunge report. I didn't know people still used that term anymore.

So it mentions in the article that they may play sasquatch this year.

I really hope not, but it would be a great get for Sasquatch.

why don't you want Soundgarden? A slot for Soundgarden is 1 fewer slot for Kanye

But it also means a slot for Soundgarden is 1 fewer slot for Radiohead.

Radiohead>Soundgarden. I agree. Radiohead is the best possible headliner in any scenario.
However, I just don't see it happening.

Personally, i think we've got a greater shot at a Beatles reunion than a Radiohead slot in 2011. I'd love to be wrong on this one... but I can't envision anybody getting Radiohead right now, other than say, Lollapalooza.

I'm thinking it unlikely Pearl Jam will play Sasquatch. The last large american festival they played was Bonaroo in 2008 and according to this link http://www.spinner.com/2010/12/09/pearl-jam-music-festival-20th-anniversary/ They are planning their 'own' music festival. Also Eddie Vedder is on a solo tour with dates through the begining of April.

It's sad but I think Pearl Jam can be moved out of the strong possibilities section and into the unlikely.

I wonder if we'll have any double headliners day considering rumors for Arcade Fire, Wilco and Pixies as the headliners are strong.

I wouldn't mind seeing Soundgarden though.

I'm officially 100% over the idea of possibly having a Radiohead sized headliner. I just can't do this to myself anymore haha. Perhaps really the only "big" thing about the anniversery is indeed the 4th day. Still damn decent by all accounts though!

I may be chased off the board for saying this, but, am I the only one who can't see The Pixies headlining? Don't get me wrong, I know they've headlined before, but considering they're currently touring theatres, and haven't put anything other than live albums out in the past 10 years, don't they seem like a sub-headliner at this point?

it seems like a weak touring year for headliners so I think they'll probably headline. I see your point though.
