Annoying joke in concept, but made worth while because of this comedy gold: How about The Misfits? I like their shirts.

I really hate that Travis from Gurrilla Candy wrote this. Now I'm just going to get my damn hopes up again haha.

Don't get your hopes up - Daft Punk said that they had an offer from Coachella but just weren't ready from a production standpoint for a live show. I can't imagine the case is any different for Sasquatch.

I don't really buy it because Arcade Fire would headline a day rather than play under the foo fighters on friday

That they're opening for Foo Fighters?
Very suspect.

Though it also says they're playing Friday at Coachella, so maybe this site just list the first/a random date during the festival?
It's not like it would be a big surprise if they're there.

those are my exact thoughts.
i've seen similar things happen at Bonnaroo in previous years. all it means is that they are signed on to play at the festival - but haven't announced the specific date.

I think we missed the point, it pretty much confirms AF as the second headliner, doesn't it.

I think we missed the point, it pretty much confirms AF as the second headliner, doesn't it. No, it doesn't, because I've never seen this website before, and apparently, neither have many of you. I'm not saying it's wrong, because there's still the possibility that Arcade Fire is, in fact, a headliner, but it in no way "confirms" anything.

The strange thing about the listing of tour dates is there are a lot of dates in europe that haven't been confirmed any where else, it is almost like they released AF tour schedule before anybody else. It seems too specific to be a fake. We just have to wait for some of the other dates to be officially announced( which should be soon) and we will know if it is real or not. In the mean time I will put them as expected.

Well for what its worth, its a confirmation in my eyes. When I went to their show at the Henry Miller Memorial Library, they said they were in talks to play. I didn't say anything, because I had a similar confirmation with Cut Copy, but that didn't work out. Nothing is truly confirmed until the release party, but I'd imagine that AF will be there.

My concern with the excitement about this is that you're going from this: Well for what its worth, its a confirmation in my eyes. to this: Nothing is truly confirmed until the release party when that second point should be addressed first, followed by an appropriate reconsideration of the first point.
