Randomly found out I have a music connection - a lady I work with is cousins with one of the Fleet Foxes guys, Casey or Christian (I don't remember which she said), and saw him over Thanksgiving. He says they're playing at Sasquatch. He also says they're done recording the new album and hope it'll come out late spring/early summer. So there's that.

Weird, I stood next to Robin Pecknold at a Grand Archives show once and he totally gave off a "We're SO playing Sasquatch 2011" vibe.

let's just book friendly fires, face to face, and funkmaster flex so the mainstage on friday can just have the FF logo up all day. and then we can focus on getting more dad rock for the other days.

So let me see if I got this right. Drew comes to the board as a noob, and is immediately the most disliked person for criticizing the first confirmed band. I didn't care, I like noobs, even if they don't like the Foo Dr. Garbanzohters.

Then, Drew bashes the Sasquatch board for it's lack of information while praising the Coachella board for their insider knowledge. His next post a couple minutes later, he says it looks like Wolf Parade is going to be there, and later defends his source as CoS, even though it is old news to the rest of us. Even as a moderator, I had to point out this hilarious sequence of, "you guys don't know anything, guess what I know, oh wait, you already know that?" That must hurt the ole feelers, but I'm allowed to defend this board.

Two days later, Drew comes up with a story about how he knows someone who knows someone who told him something. Let me remind you he has been bashed by virtually everyone on this board, yet has praised CoS and the Coachella board. Where do you think he would post this story if it was true, and where do you think he would post it if was made up? Don't worry, I checked, he didn't post it on the Coachella board where he frequents the Sasquatch thread, nor did he post it on Cos.

And you can't even say, "I told you so," when the Fleet Foxes are on the lineup, because everyone expects them to be there. In fact, I think it is more likely that the Foo Dr. Garbanzohters have to cancel and that Wolf Parade was just joking when they said they would be at Sasquatch, than the Fleet Foxes not being on the lineup.
