What I really want to see would be a Flaming Lips extended set with Roger Waters, Heny Rollins, and Stardeath, doing the DSOTM set then doing Lips stuff

I'd like that too, actually.

'Dark Side of the Moon' is my favorite record of all time. The Lips' version is... ok. But I've seen so many Lips shows at this point that any time they decide to do something different, I'm down.

Maybe we'll get a 'Soft Bulletin' set? They're doing that on New Years, I'd fucking LOVE that. They'll be headlining one night, I have no doubt, so I hope they do something cool.

God I hope. They don't ever play songs off that album anymore and it's one of my favorites.

Last time I saw them, we got some 'Priest Driven Ambulance' and some 'Clouds Taste Metallic', but I don't think we even got 'Race for the Prize'.

Soft Bulletin set would GREAT. I hate when you get a lips set without race for the prize, gong bashing is a pivotal part of my Flaming Lips concert enjoyment. Last time I saw them I caught Kliph Scurlocks drumstick and got him to sign it afterwards. Maybe I'll go dig it out of my parents house and post a picture in that "See something cool" thread that Horned Name Change is killing

So I sense some Oberst hatred? Why is that?

The whiny, affected vocals; the injured puppy dog posturing, the high school poetry lyrics, and the fact that he gets fall-down drunk during every single performance ever.

I saw Bright Eyes on the 'Lifted' tour and it made me want to just lie down and die.

Alt-country died an ignominious death after 'Yankee Hotel Foxtrot' because of Conor Oberst and Ryan Adams. It shouldn't have been that way.

Desaparecidos? Mystic Valley Band? How do you even tell them apart?

You can't tell the difference? Okay.... Interesting. Well I guess it's an opinion. Nothing I can do about that... But they really are different, especially Commander Venus.

I can't tell the difference because I don't give a shit. Every time that guy opens his mouth I want to kick him in the nards so hard that it retroactively makes his grandparents sterile. I'm sure if his tousled hair and bedroom eyes made my legs quiver then each stanza would be a gift, but they don't.

Oh Jesus Christ, this person is fourteen years old. There should be big dorky stickers like the Canadians have on their cars to signify which posters aren't old enough to walk to the store by themselves yet.

I guess the name 'iloveconoroberst' should have tipped me off. Either way I've got some editing to do.

I wonder what happens to you after you die if, in life, you were unnecessarily mean to an eighth grader. Guess I'll find out eventually.

Wow.. I never seen anyone hate a musician as much as you obviously despise Conor Oberst. I don't even hate Geddy Lee that much.. Impressive.
