The show at marymoore was canceled because someone in the band was sick so they switched it to two shows at the paramount a few months later

VW really came through for their fans after that cancellation. Pretty cool of them to reschedule as quickly as they did.

Gah they were so amazing in Portland when they came. They played all but 2 of their songs, and they sounded exactly like they did on the album. It was raining extremely hard but nobody gave a shit it was Vampire Weekend.

I always went back and forth on how I felt about them, but after their Sasquatch set I was completely won over. Such a fun fun band.

I got tickets to the marymoore show, but then I couldn't go to the make up it really sucked. I really liked the first album, but I never could get into the second album until I saw them live as sasquatch.

Something about seeing it live really made it click. I think it was seeing Ezra singing white sky.

It's not gonna happen, but it'll happen eventually. Especically with Why? on his way up (although if Why?'s lyrics are to be taken as literally as they are presented, I'm pretty sure the guy is dying of AIDS).

Fuck confused faces, there isn't a single band I've ever seen perform at Sasquatch that I wouldn't trade for a set from cLOUDDEAD. Except maybe Mike Patton and Dan the Automator's Crudo set from '08.
