I agree that Arcade Fire is probably a lock for a headliner. Cut Copy and The Walkmen both have albums coming out and they would be awesome as sub-headliners. I've got my fingers crossed for Hot Chip since their current tour has no Northwest dates. As for smaller acts I agree Surfer Blood should and probably will be there (they've been everywhere else.) Major Lazer would be another great addition, I'm not crazy for their music but I watched their set online for Pitchfork and it looked like the most fun ever. Other possibilities include Sleigh Bells, Best Coast, Beach House (please) Die Antword, !!!, Yeasayer, Deerhunter, Blonde Redhead and Of Montreal. As for the BIG ones, I'm leaning on the side of optimism that Radiohead will close out the festival in epic fashion. I could see Belle and Sebastian as a sub-headliner for Arcade Fire on either Saturday or Sunday working out nicely as well.

If we're talking small bands that should get bigger then I suggest Adam Snacks get on Everything Everything.

typical british post-punk/new wave cross, except this is AWESOME. Can't wait to hear their full album.

Death Cab is working on a new record, would be very surprised to not see them headlining one night, or at the least, co-headlining on Sunday night.

Death Cab, they're kinda post-dub grime with more guitars aren't they?

Anyone who, in fucking August, believes that any band is a "lock" to play is kidding themselves.

Would anybody else be happy to see Megadeth close out sunday? Apparently they have two new albums out. Not that I've listened to them in like a thousand years, but as a whole festival experience it would be pretty wild to have it book ended by High Profile indie act and Lengendary Metal act. Plus they are consumate professionals when it comes to melting the faces of large crowds.
Not saying it makes 100% sense, but with them on the mainstage and a big DJ in the tent it could workout well.

Sasquatches hate metal.

Anyway, after the Mars Volta debacle and the mass exodus from the mainstage that ensued they seem to have made the intelligent decision of keeping it a little more chill. For the hippies.

while i don't have a problem with Megadeth... I can't imagine them playing Sasquatch is a possibility. It wouldn't make much sense. -- but i applaud you for thinking outside the box.

50 miles is a very reasonable request.

the walkmen played at like 1 in the afternoon last year, they aren't going to even come remotely close to sub-headlining....
