There's lots of buzz about the big names that played at Sasquatch! this year, but I feel that deadmau5 really blew it away with his incredible light show. Not that the mau5 isn't big or anything, because I feel that there are way more than enough fans to earn him an invitation to the main stage next year. Think of what he could do with those huge screens! Massive Attack had an amazing light show and I can only imagine what deadmau5 would do if he had the big deal. Plus it would be sweet for him to go to a bigger stage each year!
What do you guys think?

Good thing you started a whole new thread for this.
Also: we had Deadmau5 the last two years. Yeah his light show is the shit, BUT his music is for retarded children. As much as my mind was blown by his set this year, a headlining set on the mainstage is one of just a few things that would make me consider not going to Sasquatch on that day.

No one who isn't named Neko Case has played three years in a row.

Fucker hit the floor like a freshman on the third night of a three-night stand at the 9:30 Club about a week and a half ago, which I guess will happen if you stay up on ecstasy for 72 straight hours. How embarrassing for him when his fans realized that he doesn't really do anything on stage except wear the mouse head and wave his arms around.

You sure that's what happened? Were you there doing E with him? And that's all he does is wave his hands around while wearing a mouse head.....how insightful.....you must be a world class DJ to know all of this.....

Biff is just sore because I wiped his ass with his face in our conversation about Primus.

Explain how this went down because I did not see anything like that. You want to talk Primus then lets talk bitch, you probably have never seen them live and know something about a big brown beaver and that's it. Now you see that they are touring and you looked them up on the internet so you have learned everything about them over the past 3 weeks. Nice work..
But hey, you lived in Utah and are probably the product of some polygamist sect so your stupidity is forgiven.

I kinda thought he had a good handle on Primus, and frankly feel I would have to of momentarily slipped into an opposite universe to see it any other way. How was the Brown album their peak again? Also, the Utah slam? really?
I fully feel you know butt loads on Primus and on the incestual breeding grounds of Utah - It's simply a matter of articulation that seems to be your enemy and unfortunately making you sound a notch lower than said inbreds.

Apologies, Tales From The Punchbowl was the biggest album and the Brown album was probably a close second. Don't mix up my words though, I'm saying that those were the biggest albums as they gained them airplay on mainstream radio and introduced them to South Park fans who never heard them before. As great as Frizzle Fry, Suck On This, Sailin The Seas and Pork Soda were I don't think these albums gained much more than a underground following.
So let me ask you, what was the biggest album for Primus?

Easy, TFTPB.
Also regarding Deadmau5, fun stuff and all, nice lights - but no one should really be defending him beyond that. In a Rolling Stone issue (couple back I think where they explore the "burgeoning" dance scene) he even says himself his music and live show is elementry and geared to folks who start tapping their foot to anything up tempo. He actually does just dance with a Mouse helmet on. It's a performance.

Primus was grade school, man. I've been listening to Sailing the Seas of Cheese since I was twelve years old. I've seen Primus several times, and I've seen every one of Claypool's projects since the Frog Brigade. I've seen the Residents three times, and I was there when Mr. Skull took the stage AT the Primus show at the Great American. So eat my balls.
I don't see any point in arguing with you if you're stooge enough to pull out the Mormon jokes. Like I've never heard it before, asshole. You're not very good at this.

Also: 'Seas of Cheese' and 'Pork Soda' were both certified platinum, and you're an idiot. Hm.
