I'd club a baby seal to see Pulp. Honestly I'd rather have Pulp at Sasquatch than even Radiohead, because I've seen them and I know I'll have plenty of chances to see them again.

And concerning Death Cab: I can't stand their records, not a single one. But I was so impressed by their set at `08 Squatch that I went to see them again a couple weeks later at Edgefield. I think they are a great live band.

Gang of Four is back reuniting but it looks like they're playing Seattle in Feb. (presumably post-lineup announcement), so we can probably eliminate them. www.pollstar.com/blogs/news/archive/2010/11/10/747117.aspx

chromeo is touring into the feb. and they have a gap in dates and no seattle show, so it possible that they may be there, also possible they are just yet to set a show in seattle. http://consequenceofsound.net/2010/11/10....-in-a-hot-mess/

Agreed. I'll even hold down the baby seal.

My favorite song never seems to match the most popular song in a band's catalog, but I've listened to "Common People" on repeat walking home from bars late at night many times. I guess it's their most popular, Pitchfork told me so.

Nice catch. They announced that Portland show four weeks ago. Like you said, a Seattle show still might be in the works, but for now, I think this is a decent rumor.

My friends and I took Peatrick to Chromeo in Vancouver for his birthday in August, and we're all going back to see them in February. Here's hoping we'll get a shot at another set from them at Sasquatch!

I think the William Shatner/Joe Jackson cover of 'Common People' is at least as good as the original. Joe was born to sing that chorus.

no she has a Seattle date. It's rare for someone to play a show in seattle and sasquatch around the same time
