I dig Boys Noize more than any electronic act on the lineup, but five years from now, Ween on the Mainstage will be more memorable than Boys Noize in the tent, if you can even get in. There are enough attending this festival who don't care for Ween that the tent will be packed regardless of the act in that slot.

It's still a really tough call. I'm so bad at decision making, I'll probably go with the New Pornographers.

New Pornographers are definitely on that must see list for me... Together is sounding... Well it's sounding better than Challengers did to me, so I'm stoked for that.

I think every festival should close with dj's into the dawn (i get the logistics of why not) or the choice of headliner or DJ. As sweet as Boize Noize are, at the end of a festival what ever makes you keep dancing and enjoying the vibe is always amazing.

That's probably the best way to put it... It's neutral, lending weight to either Ween or Boize Noize depending on what your specific flavor is... Although I must confess I was starting to dig the animosity of the "suck my dick," conversation, albeit due to a drunken joke or not... We need more passion on these boards....

All the bands suck in comparison to Kenny G! G man live on, he touches everyone in the right spot... THE KENNY G SPOT!

Poor man's Kenny G... I was wondering who was gonna try to pull that bullshit!

That video is just reaffirmation as to where I'm going to be.

boys noize is gonna kill it. im sure ween is gonna be amazing. epic for all their fans. personally, ive never heard of ween until the line up was announced. i asked around and my friends who have heard of them said they are great musicians. ive given them a listen and decided im not even gonna try and get into them before sas. itll save me some conflict and time, time i need to listen to the new lcd, mtb, bss, boh, mgmt and portugal albums...

i feel exactly the same way about about pavement...

to each his own... dont be a music nazi... theres plenty of fantastic music for everyone!!!

love and peace on the sasquatch boards!!

Man + "dick" reference to make a point = Dude
Will Ferrall + Anything = Douche
Man + Man + getting off on saying "cock" "slut" "hood rat" * Beer pong = bro

I know the math can get complicated but usually the tell tale signs are a healthy mix of buried insecurities, ignorance to women and foreigners, movie quotes, intense drinking games, genital talk, more genital talk, homophobic words, claims they aren't homophobic, and bad hair cuts.

The point of this thread was to point out that Boys Noize aka Alexander Ridha is one of the best DJs in the world. That is all.

Hey everybody. It looks like Pitchfork is not recommending Boyz Noise, so that should help your decision. They don't recommend Ween either, so you'll be thankful to know you can just leave after Neon Indian, and not miss anything.

That makes me think of some old tourists referring to a travel guide, and saying, "I don't knoooooow, that band isn't really recommended by Pitchfork? Should we risk it?"

that's a really odd (and useless) festival guide. I mean do they really not expect anybody to go to Mumford & Sons, Minus the Bear, P. The Man, or Edward Sharpe? then they list three bands playing at the same time? It's as if they don't even know how a festival works.
