Just picked up Eyelid Movies by Phantogram since I'm going to be seeing them open for The Antlers in early May and then possibly again at Sasquatch. Its fantastic. After Local Natives and Tallest Man its my favorite new discovery. Fans of Massive Attack and The National should check it out.

Supposedly they've prepared about 40 songs for the tour. That's only 24, so be prepared for more They're playing that!? moments.

Not much of a new discovery but I was listening to a couple of Nada Surf albums the other day. I listened to High/Low when it first came out, and while i enjoyed it I wrote them off as Weezer wannabes. Too bad it took me this long to Dr. Garbanzoure out that they are not that at all! Very good albums that show maturity...but Popular is still a great song and I hope they play it live still.

^City and Colour are just plain TERRIBLE and DULL!!! Sappy, whiny lyrics...shitty music...overplayed and overated and !! When the line up came out I was shocked to see him there. He is just as boring live as he is on CD.

Avi Buffalo's debut came out yesterday. Pretty fucking floored about these guys. Sounds like a mix of The Shins and the Pernice Brothers.

Saw Avi Buffalo opening for Japandroids last Friday. Not bad, but I won't go out of my way to catch their set at Sasquatch.
