I was really disappointed with the lineup. I have been to Sasquatch every year, maybe once they show who is playing which days we can make it to one day of shows. Not worth it when the beer and food prices are so ridiculous.
I am very glad I didn't purchase the pre-lineup tickets.
Summer Meltdown here I come... :'(

Wow...really? What were you expecting????

To me, this line-up is precisely what I envisioned a Sasquatch Festival line-up to look like. And in doing so, it exceeded my expectations. I believe they spent their money the right way; going for substance, not flash. They skipped on the major players like Jay-z, Soundgarden, etc...and saved bigtime dollars doing so - which they used to make a solid overall lineup. So yes, it focuses mainly on indie rock, but if you were expecting something else, well there's always Bumbershoot.

Nope at work. But looking at it now, it does appear so. Let me edit that a little though...

There are three Jonas Brothers and only two guys in MGMT.

I've been checking out MGMT's live show on youtube after hearing from many sources they were terrible live and I've got to say... the lead singer can't sing worth crap. Lord... I'm happy listening to their excellent album but there's no way I'm wasting time watching them live.

that made no sense, and why would you base your opinion off a shitty you tube video and what other people say? if everyone told you to jump off a bridge you probably would. If you think there album is excellent then give em a chance and take in to account they are still a pretty fresh band and it takes time to develop a really solid live sound that shit doesnt happen over night

It wasn't like they were low quality. I found high quality vids and the dude grumbles through every song. He's got no range. I dig the music but why would I waste my time if there's someone else I'd love to see (maybe temper trap).

I had high hopes with some of the initial lineup announcements last night, but I didn't know that they would be (supposedly) the final bill. Pretty much no interest in any of the headliners or subheadliners. Looking at the list, the bands I want to see the most are Minus the Bear, Portugal. The Man, The New Pornographers, The Temper Trap, Passion Pit, Kid Cudi, and City & Color. Vampire Weekend, MMJ, and Pavement all being pretty boring in my opinion. Not a lot of interest in seeing Massive Attack, LCD Soundsystem, Ween, She & Him, Tegan & Sara, The National, The Hold Steady, or Band of Horses.

Overall I'm pretty disappointed, especially considering the rumors for Soundgarden, Pixies, RATM, and the fact that the lineup last year was in comparison, very strong. Bought the presale tickets but also got the insurance so I'll likely get a refund, that is, unless anyone wants to buy them.

I think that the problem a lot of people have/will have with the lineup is that it's not as broad as years past. Last year was strange because NIN and Jane's Addiction played, and that whole lineup seemed a little disjointed to me. I guess the organizers were going for more of a variety in the crowd, but this year it seems so indie/pocketband that it hurts. I don't think they'll have any trouble selling tickets, because to a fan of this type of music this lineup is fantastic. They're just going to sell to that segment rather than the "crushing beer cans on your forehead" crowd.

not a bad thing. Sasquatch never seemed like that type of an event anyway.

I am extremely dissappointed with the line-up this year!!! There are no real headliners. pavement and mmj should at most be the bands that play right before the REAL headliners, maybe even headline the yeti stage. This line-up is the worst ive seen since 2007 when they cut the festival to only 2 days! There are a few bands that kinda want to see but absolutely none that are worth the money for the tickets and camping and the rediculously high prices that they charge for basicaly anything you might buy in the show! i had super high hopes for this year after all the hyping they've been doing for it and i was compltely let down by what they actualy came through with.
