Why are people acting like the headlining is weak?? Pavement?!? I dont mean to sound obnoxious but Pavement is ridiculously huge to have on the bill, along with Ween and Massive Attack! Just because its great doesnt mean theyre not "big drawing" : ) I feel like this line-up just has less filler bands.
I hope the flaming lips are added on Monday night to perform Dark Side of the Moon.
I just really can't see a lot of people sticking around to watch Ween. I will, but I can see a lot of people leaving pretty early on Monday.
as far as i know the flaming lips aren't doing just their dark side of the moon cover anywhere, they do a full lips set first. this obviously takes at least 2.5 hours, so monday wouldn't work at all unless they pooped a band or two off the mainstage. a ton of people will stick around for MGMT but i can already see in my mind the streams of people going up the hill to go home after their set. MMJ and massive attack should draw decent numbers, but monday needs an actual headliner pretty badly.

every year there is talk of the addition of a new headliner and yet it never materializes. This is what we have and it's great. The biggest addition we can hope for is MAYBE a midsized band added to the mainstage on Monday

While I would have loved to see Flaming Lips on the list, I am honestly ecstatic about this lineup. Upon hearing who all will be there, I literally couldn't breath. Pavement, The Mountain Goats, and The Hold Steady are three of my all-time favorite bands, add in Ween, Drive-By Truckers, Cymbals Eat Guitars, Edward Sharpe, LCD Soundsystem, Band of Horses, New Pornographers, Nada Surf, My Morning Jacket, Vampire Weekend, Deadmau5, and all the other amazing acts and you have a damn near perfect lineup.

the lineup is kick ass.
my first sasquatch but do you guys think theres any chance of names like phoenix and chromeo getting added, or do they usually add smaller names between the initial line up and the actual festival.
besides those two im sad that yeasayer and little dragon arent on the lineup (both have seattle tour dates in april though so its understandable)... otherwise its pretty wicked. cant wait!
manny, not frenchy.

they always add more bands after the initial announcement, it wouldn't be unexpected for them to add some more middle of the lineup bands as well as some sub-headliners. they added murder city devils pretty late last year.

I looked at last years line up and compared it to this years. If my math is right, theres going to be 1 wookie add for Saturday, 1 main stage add for Sunday, 1 yeti add for Sunday, 1 main stage add for Monday, 1 wookie add for Monday, and 1 yeti add for Monday. Plus there are going to be a bunch more comedians added and maybe a dance act or two. This is based on the number of bands that played last year and if they are going to keep the same number this year. They are definitely switching it up in the Dance tent, so I am not sure how many adds there will be there, but there will probably be a couple more electronic acts and a bunch more comedians to fill out the early part of the day.
I would definitely expect a couple decent sized names to be added. I don't think that we are going to get any headliner adds, unless the tickets just don't sell.
Also, the more that I looked at the psuedo-schedule the more excited I am about the festival. While I agree that Flaming Lips or Arcade Fire would send this festival over the top, its really solid just the way it is right now.

As much as I'd love the Arcade Fire I can't imagine them headlining Monday night (being the biggest of headliners). If indeed there is a headliner revealed on Monday it'll be much smaller. I think it's more likely that another lesser (but still big) mainstage act gets added (Dead Weather?).
