I eat my words: Death Cab For Cutie was awesome. All of the bands I was excited to see killed it, and all the ones I was skeptical about won me over right quick (never knew I was a Tegan and Sarah fan either.) I give all the credit to the Gorge. Whatever man or woman stood at the edge of that cliff and decided to build a stage there was a person with profound vision. Every band I saw was in peak form, the crowd's vibe was overwhelmingly positive, and even the rain felt good at times. With this year's new 3-day format, Sasquatch has claimed a rightful place alongside Coachella and Bonnaroo as one of the premeire music festivals in the world, and certainly among the best in the U.S. Long live the Gorge. I'll see you all next year.
