The Pack AD will be there because every odd numbered year there is a 2 piece band from Vancouver so they are due. Science.

Lumineers will probably happen, Girl Talk no, big name commedian no, and Mark Farina would be awesome, but later than 4pm.

And I'll wish for Matt and Kim because face melting fun times.

I've never seen Mark Farina live (Missed him by 1 day in Calgary a month ago!!), but Air Farina is probably one of my top 15 most listened to albums of all time. His Mushroom Jazz stuff is so mellow that I dont know if he would get a good reaction later at night. Maybe if he was SUPER late when people are danced out.

Regardless he would be perfect for Sasquatch. Someone get Snacks on the phone.

Mark Farina is great live, he mixes in old stuff like the Talking Heads and the Beatles over his funky music. It's a blast and would be great for a later slot in the tent.

Bjork
overbooked herself this year will festival appearances in addition to her massive installations, which led to complications with a vocal cord nodule. We don't need to ask Snacks for this one, but fingers crossed regardless that she's feeling better in time for 'Squatch because we know how badly she wants to throw random garbage into the Gorge again.
3D Primus
Because it's Primus and it's 3 dimensional and we don't even know what that really means yet.
Kraftwerk
have been known to make the most random and sparse US festival appearances. Booking them as a headliner would be the most exciting thing Snacks could do for me since introducing the impressive burritos this year, although I would accept them as a sub-headliner to Deadmau5 as their current level of pupularity would appropriate, even though that's really fucking sad.
Animal Collective
The more I think about it, the more I think how perfect Animal Collective would be as a Monday headliner, i.e. the haters can go home and the lovers can party without all the chatter.

Four Tet/Daphni
This is the quintessential DJ set(s) that we need shacking our bananas next year. They created the two best bootie-shakin' albums of 2012 individually and have recently been spending a lot of time together playing consecutive DJ sets. Four Tet is long overdue in the shack, and Daphni is his perfect counterpart.
Death Grips
will be jocking everybody's nuts in 2013. Sasquatch will undoubtedly get a piece.
Battles
put on the best daytime festival set I've ever seen. At Bonnaroo they said they have been taking it easy in 2012, but to expect them back around in 2013.
Built to Spill
It's been 5 fucking years.
Thee Oh Sees
have rocked the shit out of every festival in the world except Sasquatch with their renowned live show. BOOK THAT SHIT ALREADY
Tim Hecker and/or Daniel Lopatin
Their new album together is good, although I still think these guys work better in their own heads. Either way, a collaborative set or a Tim Hecker set or a Oneohtrix Point Never set would melt some face.
Deerhoof
Kick-ass live shows like every day. New albums like every other day. Didn't get the spot they deserved in 2009. Redemption.
Nice Nice
The only reason I can think of for Nice Nice not playing Sasquatch yet is that Snacks hasn't heard of them. Theyre from Portland, play quality Sasquatch-esque music, and would probably do it for $50 and 2 train tickets. Their 2010 album Extra Wow is phenomenal, as is their live show. Check 'em out.
Akron/Family
There is no good reason for the AkAk boys never having played our beloved Sas. They released another excellent album last year that hasn't had much touring behind it yet, and their epic sets are perfect for festivals.

What Burrito said.

And fuckin' Slint. (Though I'm a little leery after reading of the 2007-ish reunion shows being so-so. I don't want Spiderland every ruined for me ever.)

Pretty please!!! And if Modeselektor is there you gotta book Atoms for Peace so Thom Yorke can do his creepy/awesome little dance onstage with them during 'Shipwreck'. Definitely in my top 3 moments of Coachella '12. The crowd went nuts. Also, has anybody seen Modeselektor with the 3D glasses? All the people up front had them on and I was soooo curious what that was like.

Owen sure has been quiet. Maybe he knows something we don't?

Owen knows a lot we don't.

Modeselektor was on our request list from Owen to Snacks last year, to no avail. So was Sigur Ros.
