Yeah...so I was thinking of taking the long way to Seattle through Portland (to avoid Snoqualmie in February) on my move. I'm thinking it is mandatory that we go to that show.

That show is the day after my 32nd birthday. And it is fucking Built to Spill at the mother fucking DOUG FIR. It is safe to call it mandatory.

This sounds glorious. If I can't make it down this weekend (it's looking ever more unlikely) then I definitely want to be there for this!

Also, (maybe there's a more appropriate thread for this) if we were to have a Birthday Celebration for Señor Burrito January 5th-6th who could swing a trip to Seattle for it?

About those Knife Party rumors, this is pretty cool. Slightly ironic that there are also Deadmau5 rumors floating around. Let's say they are indeed both at the festival, I hope Rob Swire would be down to do Ghost's and Stuff live.

So I was on the Lumineers website because I heard they were in PNW/Canada in December (ended up just being a 3 shows Portland,Van,Seattle Dec 2,3,4). Anyways, I noticed that they are playing (headlining?) Floydfest in July.

As I'd never heard of it, I googled Floydfest, and they have released some (all?) of their lineup:

Probably going to be some crossover with Sasquatch and the other festivals.

Bands that stand out to me:

Lumineers
Blitzen Trapper
Trampled by Turtles (rocked Sasquatch last year)

Admittedly, I havent heard of many of the others, but maybe some people here have.

Lumineers European tour ends in April, and they already have 1 American festival booked for the summer. They have to be a lock at this point. I bet they give some hints toward Sasquatch at their Portland/Seattle shows next week.
