Any predictions on what their set list will look like Saturday night? I've really enjoyed their last two albums, so I'm hoping they play a good amount of new stuff.

Haha, oh yeah the Roots are playing. Obviously we have no way of knowing what they're going to play, but if you look them up on setlist.fm you'll probably get a pretty good idea of what material they have worked out for their current tour.

Yeah I actually just found that site a couple minutes ago. This was back in December, but I haven't been able to find a more recent set list: http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/the-roots/....d-13d17945.html I'm guessing it'll be something close to that, which i'm definitely happy with!

I'll be at this set in spite of the fact that I really, really don't like the Roots.

Late last year they were playing 2+ hour sets. I can see them definitely going beyond their 90 minute slot, and I'll be there for every minute of it. The Roots aren't #1 on my must see list this year because the lineup is so stacked, but I'm way beyond excited to see them. I hate most rap groups these days but these guys are amazing.

Hope they play a bunch from How I Got Over, Undun, and Phrenology.

They haven't, really. Their albums make me cringe every single time one of them comes up, and they spend five nights a week with Jimmy Fallon. But I hear they have a sousaphone player.

I'm weary of the Jimmy Fallon exposure as well.

It definitely exhibits a pretty serious lack of artistic integrity.

Agreed. "The Fire" is definitely one of my favorite songs at the moment.

I can honestly say I couldn't name a single Roots song. I'm sure I've heard them, but I can't think of anything by them.
