Where to get the lineup announcement on Feb. 17

Hey message board peeps. Travis with the blog Ear Candy here.

The Sasquatch! lineup leaks have been pretty few and far between this year, but I wanted to let you all know where to go to get the actual, legit announcement when it is released tomorrow.

You will find it on my blog Spin The Black Circle as soon as it is released. I plan to post the official press release in its entirety on that blog when I have it in my inbox.

I will also write about the lineup on my Ear Candy blog, but for the official information check Spin the Black Circle. The url is below.

I pretty much just planned on either coming here, going to the blogspot blog, the official website, or maybe even wikipedia. If none of those work, I'll consider this.

Around what time will the lineup be announced? 7am or 8am?

I didn't know the lineup until I arrived at work this morning. I went here to get it, just because it would look more official, and I didn't want to be reading a comedian trying to dupe the board with fake lineup. The entire walk to work, I was envisioning see the lineup listed vertically, immediately scrolling down to about the 10th to 15th billed to make sure Animal Collective was there, then going back to start at the top.

When you click on the link, it first lists twelve bands in the headline, and you had to scroll down to read the lineup. So I read the headline, then thought, "wait, Animal Collective are bigger than Monotonix, Santigold, Of Montreal, Bon Iver, and Gogol Bordello," so I got worried.

Then I scrolled down and did a visual search looking for Animal Collective, and didn't immediately see them because the word Animal was the last word of a line, and Collective was the first word of the next line, and my brain couldn't put two separated words on different sides of the page together immediately.

Anyway, they are there, relief, and the strongest mid tier act of any Sasquatch thus far made my day. After all, we already knew the headliners, so there was no disappointment in that confirmation.
