Live Nation and Adam Snacks are pleased to announce confirmed dates for this year's Sasquatch Music Festival - Saturday May 23, Sunday May 24, and Monday May 25 - Memorial Day weekend at the legendary Gorge in Eastern Washington.
For the first time in its 8-year run, the festival will include the newly expanded Comedy & Dance Tent. The tent will feature performances from comedians throughout the day, and then come dusk, will spotlight electronic and dance music artists. The full line-up, website launch, and on-sale date will be announced, Tuesday, February 17, 2009.
Already the official opener to summer for music fans, Sasquatch! Music Festival is a certified monster of a musical event: this year's festival will feature another exciting and diverse line-up for the musically adventurous, and ups the ante on an event already hailed for its independent spirit.

A week earlier than I expected... that's great news.
And a dance tent? $20 says Girl Talk is going to be there.

Did anyone follow that brooklynvegan link? Somebody posted that Radiohead will be there. Don't toy with my fragile emotions.

I love Anouncements about other announcements soon to come, so awesome we got a date on the lineup!
Dance tent! all I have to say is go ahead and bring the Killers, No Doubt, and Kanye to headline, and I wont have to make any tough decisions!

Don't get excited, the posting also said that LCD soundsystem would be in the Dance tent. If An act as big as LCD is there I doubt they would be in the dance tent. Especially one the same size as last year.
But hey if Radiohead and LCD are there . That would already make it the best line up sasquatch has ever had.

not to defend someone who is definitely lying (readiohead will not be there...) but lcd soundsystem has been doing a lot of dj sets lately so it's quite possible there will be a dj set in the dance tent

girl talk is a complete festival whore. dance tent or no dance tent girl talk was going to be there. not that i am complaning i am just saying. radiohead woudl be amazing but they will not be there. TVOR will be though.

Bleh did anyone see TVOTR on SNL the other night? Dreadful performance. I absolutely love their last 3 records, but their live show doesn't quite live up to the albums. Seen them twice before, and they were pretty good both times, but not amazing.
