Oh my god and there was this like teenage kid who was standing next to his dad and he kind of slipped away for a minute so he could stand in the vicinity of my cloud of smoke. HILARIOUS.

Haha, he looked like he was trying to be Eminem off of "8 mile" or something to me....
I'm really excited for Beck! The last time I saw him live was in support of his Midnite Vultures album and that was IMO one of the most memorable shows I have been to. I know he's mellowed out a little since then, but I have a feeling he is still great live.

Fuck yeah, the Midnite Vultures tour is easily one of the greatest shows I've ever seen. I learned a long time ago to stop holding Beck to that standard, but I've still seen some pretty great Beck shows since then. Hopefully since he's not dragging around some mopey, half-assed new record he'll bang some trash cans or something Beck-like. If he's headlining a festival you kind of have to assume he'll bring a little energy.
I still don't think he'll sing 'Debra', but what can ya do.
