AWOLnation is more of a long term shitty radio rock band (ala Cage the Elephant). Sasquatch is usually good at grabbing artists before they even hit the radio (remember when foster the people were booked and had like 3 songs to their name, Owl City). I think whatever band they get that blows up, none of use will have heard of them before

Atlas Genius. They have 1 song on Grooveshark and are moving up the Alt Nation chart quickly. Catchy enough song.

I think that band Fun (from a previous thread) is going to be THE BIG NEW band in 2012. That song, "We Were Young", is way to catchy for them not to be.

I never thought that fun would ever get big. I listened to their debut album quite a bit when it first came out a few years ago. I kinda forgot about them.

That's a much better guess. Looking at their facebook I can't tell if they have a North American agent yet. The best predictor of the kind of push the band is going to get is if they aren't signed to a label but they are signed to a big booking agency
speaking of booking agencies, if you're really bored you can always look at a booking agencies avails to see what artists are going to be touring around sasquatch time. as an example: http://www.flowerbooking.com/avails/

I just checked out Grouplove and Fun on the youtubes. They do absolutely nothing for me. That Fun song is especially terrible, I'd rather listen to the "Blame it on my ADD" song all day long than hear either of that stuff again.
