partymarty agreed, although I dont think changing the wookie stage would be a good idea. This fest could use a tent for sure, especially for djs. If they bring Girl talk or Justice I'll be one happy camper.

I say replace the comedy tent with whatever dance stuff. Then throw the comedy on a stage somewhere. I like the comedy a lot but it was done horribly last year.

We heard from Abe Vigoda, personally, that they really want to play an outside venue overlooking a gorge on the westcoast.
They could mean Sasquatch!

They seem like they might fit The Warped Tour better, which is also at the gorge, but then again Bedouin Soundclash has played both!

With all due respect, have you ever actually listened to Abe Vigoda? They would never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever play the warped tour. They are more in chune with bands like No Age or The Mae Shi, who are not Warped material.
That being said, I hope they make it to Sasquatch! They are great live.

CCoult, in regards to Abe Vigoda, I apologize. I haven't listened to them so that was ignorant of me to say. I saw that they were described as Tropical Punk Rock and made the leap. In addition, I realize that Sasquatch! have hosted a few punk genre bands over the years. I now have a new band to check out! Thanks for being cool about my ridiculous remark.

Did anyone here go to the comedy tent area last year? I never saw the tent. I think they'd eventually add a dance tent. I just don't know if there's any good area where they could accommodate an extra however many thousand people for dj's/electronic/dance acts. that's definitely the area that needs most improvement............ And Abe Vigoda= Ridiculously great band!

I did, I saw UCB and Eugene Mirman there. It was full both time. Seriously like there isn't enough dancing at night when people are partying?

This isn't Coachella or Bonnaroo, so I don't see dance tents or jam bands HAVING to be at Sasquatch.

Anyone know/remember when they've made lineup announcements in the past?

What about the Coachella lineup? When does that one get announced, not that I will be going, I just like to compare the lineups between the two. And in my ever so humble opion, the Sasquatch lineup was WAY better than Coachella last year. Don't get me wrong, I like Portishead, but I would have felt a little screwed over having them in a headlining slot. And to top it off......Prince was cool in 1985, and only 1985.

I'm about 99.2 percent sure Coachella gives out the line-up on Monday. It's a week earlier this year, and if they don't announce it next week. That'll be the longest they've waited to announce it.......... I'm praying for Bowie and Wolf Parade.

Peter, Bjorn and John put on a good live act?
Seems like it could go either way

If Animal Collective is playing in Vancouver the Sunday of Sasquatch, and playing shows in California the week after Sasquatch, does that make it more likely they play Sasquatch Saturday, or possibly Monday, a day that is yet confirmed. I'm guessing Saturday.

Saw this today too. Gotta believe Animal Collective will be at Sasquatch.

-Kings of Leon
-Sun Kil Moon
-Animal Collective
-Peter, Bjorn & John
-The Avett Brothers

I'd say the lineup is shaping up most incredibly so far!
