I love me some Chromeo. There's a thread on the Coachella forums that has people do a little blurb about one of the groups.....I snagged Chromeo.

If I time warped back 1982 and I was driving to Rick James' house in my Ferrari with a suitcase full of cocaine.... this is what I would be listening to. They're an electro funk group from Montreal. Band members consist of Dave 1 and P-Thug. 80's funk style synths and guitars with heavy use of a talk box. I am 43% sure Herbie Hancock slept with one; if not both, of their mothers and they are his illegitimate spawn.

Basically if you're against shaking your ass and are allergic to fun..... don't go and see these guys.

Chromeo is partly responsible for converting me from "that guy that hates dancing" to "that guy that won't stop dancing."

LCD Soundsystem at Sasquatch '10 also played a big part in that for me.

2010 was officially the year that Pea put his dancin' shoes on.

Oh man. Anyone who DIDN'T dance during LCD must've not been there because how could you NOT have dancing during their whole set?! I'm excited to do the same with Chromeo.
