Wavves wasn't really a band when those shenanigans took place. Since he has acquired jay Reatards former backing band(now only the bass player), and from what I have seen it is much different.

Also if you are going to give them another go, try King of the Beach, it is a complete 180 turn in the sound quality department compared to his previous albums.

EDIT: I have a sneaking suspicion you still will not be pleased though.

Yeah, King of the Beach is basically Wavvves (the album, not the band itself, note the 3 V's) but without the lo-fi grittiness.

I prefer Wavvves myself. King of the Beach... eh.

Their song/video called "the Captain" is one of the worst things i have ever heard or seen, friday needs some more GOOD bands
