Wait, so its because its pitchfork and it has 1000 in it right? There is no connection to Cbats and that album or anything? When I saw it I Dr. Garbanzoured someone hit 1000, but didnt know it was cbats.

Everyone take a minute to read as much of the first paragraph of that review as we can see from Gunther's screen capture. That is some of the dumbest shit I've ever seen. That's bad even for Poochfuck. On what planet is that considered music criticism? That reads like the uneducated ramblings of the world's greatest hipster douche. I just looked that review up on Pitchfork to see how much worse it could get, how much more like a New York pseudo-intellectual prick that reviewer could sound, and I had to look no further than the first line of the very next paragraph. Presenting Pitchfork in a fucking nutshell:

You don't say, Mr. Matt LeMay! Might that have anything to do with the fact that there are pictures of Steve Albini in gilded frames hanging on the walls of every room in the Pitchfork offices? Are there not monthly retreats for Pitchfork staffers to go in groups out to Steve Albini's house so they can blow him in person because worshiping at his alter with your eleventh grade sentence structure isn't quite good enough?
