Somehow just saw this post. I might have to adopt this tradition with my friends as well.

'TRON' bored me to fucking tears, but 'True Grit' was definitely one of the Coen's best. Much better than 'No Country For Old Men', which makes me sad that that's the one they won the Oscar for. I'd say there's a distinct possibility that Jeff Bridges might bring down back-to-back Best Actor awards, though.

Black Swan just scrambled my brains beyond comprehension. Such a disastrously beautiful and haunting movie. There were a couple scenes that gave me unbelievable chills.

Again I give it A+ for the dancing, music, scary stuff and Vincent Cassel's handsome face (but of course he's a creepy sex type criminal, but gets away with it because of European or something?) |

Can't argue with any of that. And yea, Vincent Cassel is the shit. I've been very intrigued by him since his role in Eastern Promises, which is one of my favorite movies.

I found the majority of black swan to be about Natalie Portman's vaginer.

That's like saying you found the majority of Schindler's List to be about naked, skinny people.

Black Swan was so fucking good. It made me want to watch Requiem and the Fountain again. Aronofsky is a meticulous and talented director. His movies kind of follow the same formula, which is a brilliant one, but I'd like to see him try on something that doesn't end making you realize you haven't breathed in an hour.
