Nobody who types 'you're' when they mean 'your' should be proofreading ANYTHING.

The case of Yogi vs. "Serious Cinema" has settled amicably out of court, enjoy.

Just got back from seeing The Green Hornet. I didn't go into it with Dark Knight expectations (then again, who would?) nor have I ever read the comics (was it a comic or a novel?) I'm not the biggest Seth Rogan fan either. That being said, the film was actually pretty enjoyable. Loads of action and a good dose of comedy. The asian guy who played the sidekick was what made the film better than expected. Not a typical super hero movie.

We did Black Swan last night. I got out of it exactly what I expected to get out of it; I thought it was great. Beautifully shot, and it is right at home in Aronofsky's filmography. Everyone was incredible in it; Natalie Portman WILL get an Oscar for it.

The mother was so much like Ellen Burstyn's character in 'Requiem for a Dream' that I'm starting to think that that is probably what Aronofsky's mother is really like. Creepy.

Thanks for the review. I have been hearing so much positive feedback about this movie. Will definitely check it out, thanks again.

The Social Network cleaned house last night on the Golden Globes. Certainly has to appear as the frontrunner for the Best Picture at the Academy Awards.

Even Trent Reznor won a Globe for scoring the soundtrack. Pretty impressive honor for the former Nine Inch Nails man!

Redbox marathon yesterday, catching all the movies I didn't feel like paying to see in the theater: Get Him to the Greek, The Last Exorcism, The Kids are All Right and Dinner for Schmucks. They all had their charms, but Get Him to the Greek was the best of the four. REALLY fucking funny, I was surprised. The Last Exorcism really caught me off guard; very creepy. The Kids are All Right was so self-conscious in its attempt to be relevant that it was kind of off-putting, but I liked a few of the characters. Dinner for Schmucks... we busted out the hash for that one. It's a movie I saw.
