Amongst my circle of friends I've always been the mature, fatherly guy that everyone came to for advice and never wanted to disappoint so everybody took to calling me Mr Lantto(my last name). In an effort to appear cleverer than I probably am I switched to MisterL when I came here.

My first name is Jeremiah, and so my original name here was... wait for it... jeremiah. It's an uncommon enough first name that I often am able to use it as a nickname online.
Several regulars here suggested that i needed to change my nickname, so I went with J-Dawg which is a nickname I've had for a long time (online and off). One of my coworkers from a previous era of my life gave me the nickname after much beer was consumed after work one Friday. And it stuck.

Our other motto is "Furth, Forchune, and Fill the Fetters", which roughly translates to, "Go forth against your enemies, have good forchune, and return with captives."

My dad wanted Gangwarily as his license plate but due to the limited number of letters, it would have came out as "Gangwar"
