Jack is 99.6% owned even before today's injury to Curry. I've never heard of Bogut, but he's owned too.

It looks like you've given up Drewoftherushes, but I don't quit. I still have a chance at third place, which is amazing considering I've lost Rajon Rondo, Danny Granger, Anderson Varejao, and Lou Williams to injury. It doesn't matter who the fifth would be, that's a pretty bad ass starting five.

I still shuffle my roster. I haven't given up. I've been mostly MIA for a week or so, though.

Did you see Curry scored 54 tonight, and I'm now in second place?

I've done enough to get uninvited next season. That was my goal.

I watched those Curry highlights about six times. He was 11/13 from threes? I can't think of one thing I can do 11/13 times which doesn't involve a toilet, a job, or waking up.

I predict Curry will rise to superstar status in the next few years if the Warriors are competitive. Close games drive that dude.

As I'm making my final push to an improbable league title after being decimated with injuries, my leading scorer, Kyrie Irving, is now out for most of the rest of the season. This is by far the worst injury luck I've had in any fantasy league.

Chode-inez should be thanking the fantasy gods nightly, because he's going to narrowly escape with the title because five of my best players got hurt.

EDIT: This might be my toughest loss yet. I was counting on Irving to provide points, threes, and assists, and I traded my other guards away recently. Looking at the standings, I don't think I can make up for that loss. I went for bigs counting on my little guys to keep the dream alive.

Anyone interested in doing a NCAA March Madness bracket?

This is a special sort of victory, overcoming a horrid draft and multiple key injuries to prevail over the most annoying fantasy owner I've ever played against (Team Chode-inez).

That's me in first, and that's drew in last (again).

One of my best friends in high school was the most competitive person I knew. He peaked in 10th grade, varsity in four sports, straight A student, etc. He was good at everything. We started catching up with him around then, and he couldn't handle not being the best. His way of coping with losing was to pretend there was no competition, and goof off so if he lost, it was because he wasn't trying. For example, after four frames of bowling, I would be ahead by about 20 points and rolling it straight, so instead of going down in defeat, he would start bowling left handed. He would make a big spectacle to point out to everyone he was bowling left handed. Then when he lost, "I didn't lose, I was bowling left handed."

I don't rub in victories that much, but whenever he would pull something like this, I (and our other good friend) would go over the top with the heckling. "Man, I beat you 165 to 71. You really suck dude. You got your ass kicked." He convinced himself he only lost because he rolled left handed, so he would get PISSED, like cursing and whatnot. That would only intensify our teasing. "Man, you really suck at bowling to get beat by 100 points." In his mind, he never lost, because he quit trying to win when he realized he was going to lose. Total chode.

Why is this story relevant?

I downplayed how good my team was this year. I had really bad luck with injuries, but I addressed the categories I was weakest in, and my games played was lowest in the league, so I knew I had a ton of points to eventually gain. His team was topped out in nearly every category near the trade deadline. He was so far low in FG%, he couldn't gain a point, and it was pretty much the same in FT% because his best players weren't great in that category. He was topped out at 64 points. It was obvious he would lose a couple points in steals, but he couldn't gain points anywhere else. It was also obvious I would continue gaining points, since so many teams ahead of me were maxed out in their games played. I was going to win, and we both knew it.

I thought I would only beat him by two points, but I beat him by twelve. Why? Because he quit playing. In his mind, he never lost, because he quit trying to win when he realized he was going to lose. Total chode.
