I drive a tractor on weekends. I don't think it's a quirk but most people here probably do. What is quirky is I listen to BPM while I do it.

Despite it being set as my default font in Word, I refuse to type anything in Times New Roman.

My life is one big quirk so I had to think about this and choose wisely.

- I must hold a bowl of cereal in my left hand and eat with my right hand. I won't eat cereal out of a bowl on a table.

&

- I sit on my feet, constantly, even at my desk, so I will shuffle around the office with one shoe on so that a foot is always ready to be sat on.

I never saw this thread before. I do the wallet/phone/keys check super often too. So often that if I'm on the phone for more than a few minutes I will absent-mindedly do the check and panic for 2 seconds because I can't find my phone, then I realize I'm talking on it.

One really weird one I have is that if I am alone in an elevator as soon as the door closes I will use the handrails and walls to lift myself up and try to not let my feet touch the ground until I either get to the floor I want or it stops to let someone else on.

BEAT THAT!

Same! And it really annoys burrito.

I must also sleep in utter darkness, with a fan running, regardless of temperature. I cover my laptop, clock, printer, etc with articles of clothing and put blankets over the windows before bed each night.

I also have major balance issues (a true Libra), so I try to chew food evenly with each side of my mouth, try to take an even number of steps between cracks in the sidewalk (& god forbid I actually step ON a crack- then I must make sure to step on EVERY crack), if I'm punched on one side of my body (I work with violent youth) then I have a compulsion to feel pain on the other side of the body.
