Is anyone watching the Padres/ Cardinals game? If so, follow up question: Does anyone know what the song that plays in that Budweiser commercial is?

When Dallas Braden pitched a perfect game last year, I was in the third inning when my friend texted me that he threw a perfect game. Oops.

So I have a minor plea for those who frequent this thread, more like a heads-up. I am an Oakland A's fan, and watch every game that is televised on the baseball package, which is most of them. I rarely watch the games live, and often don't finish them until the next day. Since I still read this board throughout the day, you'll probably being ruining something for me if you talk about the A's games as they occur. You can still talk about the A's, it's really not a big deal if I find out something before I watch it, I would just rather be surprised more often than not. Yeah, I know, it's my own fault.

Very well; I'll dedicate all in-game reactions to a Mariners blog.

HAPPY FELIX DAY!

Anyone watching the Jay's home opener? Brutal 1st inning for Minnesota.

Just dusted off the old scorebook for my yearly opening day tradition. A's game starts in twenty minutes, Trevor Cahill v. Felix "Yankee" Hernandez. I8 is lucky enough to actually be at the game, so maybe I'll use "I-8" instead of K, whenever anyone strikes out.

Let's see here, the last five games I've kept score of, 4/5/10, 4/6/09, 4/1/08, 4/3/07, and 4/8/06.

No better way to spend a Friday night. I get to miss a Dark Star Orchestra show for this, which isn't all that bad when you think about it.

How are you feeling about having to write all those E's down for your team, know?

This is the exact reason I posted the comment earlier about not ruining anything for me. If you Mariner fans knew no one here gave a shit about the A's, you wouldn't mention anything about the A's. If you come to this thread to specifically ask my opinion about the A's game I have yet to finish, you just told me to fuck off.

Oh shit, man, I'm really sorry. I thought you had said you were sitting at home watching with your scorebook on this particular evening! My bad...

Upon reading back, I don't see how I could've gotten any idea other than that you were watching the game live tonight, which is why I felt ok about posting something tonight. I promise it will not happen again.
