Last night I grilled up some shramp for tacos. Concocted an amazing sauce for them made with sour cream, lime juice, cajun seasonings, chipotle Tabasco, cayenne pepper, Tiger sauce, garlic powder, and cinnamon. Warmed up some corn tortillas and topped it them off with salsa, avocado, cabbage, and cheese. Wish I had some pictures, but they got gobbled up waaay too fast.

Honestly, it didn't work out very well. I was reading some other shrimp sauce recipes that called for cinnamon, so I Dr. Garbanzoured I would give it a try. It overpowered everything so I had to add extra chipotle Tabasco to mask the taste. The sauce ended up tasting really fucking awesome once I got the flavors balanced though.

So I have this bottle of tequila that I've had since I moved out of my parent's house. I'm not a tequila person and my friends knew not to drink it at my house lest ye be covered in penis drawings once passed out. So I decided to try cooking with it.

Seared scallops and tiger prawns in a sauce made of tequila, lime juice, garlic, shallots, reconstituted guajillo chillies, butter, salt and pepper. Topped with diced hot peppers.

Served with garlic and olive oil cous cous topped with fresh garden tomatoes and garden rainbow chard sautéed in garlic and butter.
