Not really. Taking bar classes for the credits. Although my Wrongful Convictions seminar is pretty cool.

Con Law II, eh? Have fun listening to people argue about abortion! Unless you have a good professor, that is.

If there's one aspect of aviation (other than the regulations) that I'm piss poor at it's knowledge of advanced systems. I don't even need the class credit but I'm taking it for my own benefit.

CONSTANT SPEED PROPELLERS. HOW DO THEY WORK!?!

No wait! I few a plane last week. It was a birthday present. (not an actual plane, just a lesson)

After sitting in their office reading the plane buy and sell I now see that the things arent really that expensive. You can get a reasonable used plane for the price of a new subaru.

Not gunna lie, I want a plane now.

I have gone to a local bar before my late afternoon classes more times during the first few weeks of this semester than I am proud to admit.

After the second year, when you do actual work at your internship (assuming you get a cool internship), it's insanely difficult to come back, read cases about partnership dissolution, and give a damn. Another two months at my internship and I'd have been fully prepared to handle a trial. But the big machine needs money (and, okay, I technically have to take Professional Responsibility), so I'm back for another year.

I almost considered buying one at about that price for logging my commercial hours. You can find great old Cessnas and Pipers with rebuild engines and all of the papers and inspections for damn decent prices. Keeping it airworthy and properly maintained, however, will cost you upwards of $10,000 per year.
